To be really efficient and effective, the organization can manage its way of working and doing things in a systematic way. This ensures that anything that is important or relevant to be overlooked and that all within the organization have a clear idea about who is responsible for doing what, when, how, why and where.
Lean-Sigma is a methodology that maximizes shareholder value achieving in a short time customer satisfaction in Quality, Cost, Speed Process and Inverted Capital. The fusion of Lean and Six Sigma are required because:
• Lean can not bring the process under control or reduce variation thereof.
• Six Sigma itself can not dramatically improve the speed of the process or reduce capital investment.
To make dramatic improvements in the Quality, Cost and Time Response, the company should eliminate the problems associated with the non-satisfaction of the critics for customer quality, as well as delays due to the waste using both Lean and Six Sigma.
